New Ford Bronco Sport SUVs For Sale in Salem, OR

Rediscover Your Love of Driving in the New Ford Bronco Sport | For Sale or Lease in Salem, OR

Ford stopped the production of the Bronco back in 1996, which led to a lot of unrest from loyal new Ford buyers. However, Ford has decided to bring back the Bronco and they have also added the Bronco Sport, a capable SUV with a smaller design. At Skyline Ford in Salem, OR, we're proud to offer this new version of the classic SUV.

Trim Levels

There are four different trim levels that are offered for the 2021 Bronco Sport near Independence. These trim levels are:

  • Bronco Sport Base
  • Bronco Sport Big Bend
  • Bronco Sport Outer Banks
  • Bronco Sport Badlands

The Bronco Sport Base is exactly what the name says it is. The Base is the base version of the Bronco that comes with 4x4 capabilities, a terrain management system and the full Ford Co-Pilot360™. The additional trims build of the Base, but the additional trims include some features that the Base does not have.

The Bronco Sport Big Bend includes extra features such as a SecuriCode keyless entry keypad, intelligent access with push-button start, rubberized cargo floors and easy-clean cloth seats.

The Bronco Sport Outer Banks includes a shadow black roof, mini perforated leather seats, remote start, dual-zone automatic climate control and 18-inch wheels.

The Bronco Sport Badlands has metal bash plates, specialized off-road tires, advanced 4x4 system and trail control.

The Bronco Sport comes with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that provides up to 181 horsepower, but you can upgrade the engine to a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that provides up to 245 horsepower. These engines can provide the Bronco Sport with the ability to tow between 2,000 and 2,200 pounds. Also, all the trims come with 17-inch wheels, a one-inch suspension lift and stouter shock absorbers.

The fuel economy for the 1.5-liter engine can get an EPA-estimated 25 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway for all trim levels. The 2.0-liter engine sacrifices a bit of range with only an EPA-estimated 21 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway, but it does provide a bit more horsepower.

The engines are available in all trims of the Bronco Sport, but the Badlands trim comes with the extra performance feature of a twin-clutch rear-drive unit, which provides better control when driving on off-road terrain in the Gervais area.

The design of the Bronco Sport took both comfortability and cargo space into consideration. The Bronco Sports is more compact than the Bronco and Ford Escape, but it provides plenty of rear-seat legroom and head space. The Bronco Sport optimizes rear-seat headspace and cargo by having the roofline rise in the rear of the car. The cargo space in the Bronco Sport is also capable of holding a slide-out table that can be used as a workspace.

In addition to the cargo space, the interior comes with LED lighting. The LED lighting can light the inside of the car when you are driving or when you are using the slide-out table as a workspace.

The safety features that are included in all trims of the 2021 Bronco Sport include automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. In addition to these safety features, which help alert you as a driver of potential hazards around you, the Bronco Sport also offers adaptive cruise control. The adaptive cruise control is convenient on the highway by adjusting the speed at which your vehicle is cruising at to maintain a safe distance between the vehicle in front of you and your Bronco Sport.
